SOAR Meeting Minutes 10/14/2007

Miss the SOAR meeting this Sunday? No big deal! Here's what we talked about:

Halls of Horror:
We've decided on a theme and have a ton of great ideas! There will be a general meeting Wednesday night in the Wallace 1 lounge right after the RHC meeting (we'll start around 9-9:15) to go over props and costumes and things. Also, if you're interested in volunteering on the night of the event and haven't yet added your name to the list, please contact an officer or RHC President Briane Shane (snhp@iup.edu) to add your name to the list. We're still looking for volunteers in the areas of security, guides, and greeters and the shifts will be 7-9 pm and 9-11 pm.

Scarey-oke:
Thanks to RHA we will have a FREE karaoke machine for this event. As of now there is a tentative baking day scheduled for Sunday, October 28 to make some home-made goodies for the party.

Information Table @ The HUB:
We got a table at the HUB for Monday, October 22 to advertise for SOAR housing for next year. Volunteers are needed to man the table and also to hand out information pamphlets outside of the co-op. We'll fill you in on the time as soon as we know (it'll most likely be from 12-3). Also, if you are a returning SOAR resident and have any photos from past SOAR events (no matter how old) please either e-mail them to Sara (make the subject line "SOAR photos") or drop off any extra printed copies to the Wallace Office and ask the office worker to place them in Liz's mailbox by Friday. These pictures will be used to make a posterboard collage to be displayed at the information table.
