Hi everyone, here are the meeting minutes from last nights meeting
There are a couple upcoming dates where our meetings will be in the second floor of maple east. February 3, March 3, April 14, April 28
We are selling Sheetz coupons for $4.00. With a coupon you will receive one free MTO item one free coffee or ant size fountain drink. If you would be interested in buying one (or a couple) or if you would be interested in selling coupons, please contact iupsoar@gmail.com
Soar is helping with Safe Prom. This event will be held Saturday, March 20th at 7:00 pm in the hub Ohio room. This event welcomes people of all genders, sexual orientations and ethnic backgrounds. This event promotes awareness, openness and acceptance towards all people. Tickets for this event are $6 in advance and $8 at the door.
RHC (Residence Hall Council) Meetings are held every Sunday night at 8:00 pm in either the 4th floor of Maple East or G12 in Maple West. They alternate every week. If you would like more information please email Elaine Miller, the secretary at e.r.miller4@iup.edu
We brainstormed a list of events that we would like to plan for this semester and put them in a timeline of which month we would like to have these events. Here is the list so far:
February: Valentines Day Dance, Hot Cocoa / Coffee in the Oak Grove, Superbowl Party and Ice Skating
March: Safe Prom, Relay for Life? (this event may also be in April. We are unsure yet) Karaoke Party, St Patrick's Day Bash
April: 2nd Annual camping trip, Drunk Driving Awareness Program
and Soar elections
May: Food For Finals, Information for a safe Senior Bar Crawl week
