We discussed the bake sale and Huddle in the courtyard over the weekend. We made $52.00 at the bake sale. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, helped set up, take down and run the table!
We finalized plans for Halloween. On Tuesday, October 28th Soar will be working with RHC and the CAs in the building to host a Halloween party from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The place is still being determined and we will know more on Monday's meeting so, stay tuned. We will let you know it will be held.
On Saturday October 31st (Halloween) Soar will have a game / movie night. The time annd place will be finalized during Monday's Meeting.
We discussed more about Of the Months and will nominate someone as a group during mondays meeting. Members are also encouraged to nominate individuals as well, not as a group. For more information and how to nominate someone for an OTM please visit their site at NRHH.org
Next, the position of treasurer has become open. Nominations are being taken at this time and elections will take place at Mondays meeting. If you would like to run for this postion please send an email to iupsoar@gmail.com and come to Mondays meeting prepared to present to the group a brief speech introducing yourself and saying how you are qualified for this position. If you have any questions please feel free to send them to the above email as well.
