Meeting Minutes 10 - 19 - 09

Hi Everyone! Here are the minutes from yesterdays meeting:

The Halloween Party will be Wednesday October 28, 2009 on the ground floor of Maple West from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Soar is in charge of the game room. On Monday we brainstormed some game ideas. We came up with gestures, Halloween themed balloons and darts, Ghouls and Goblins, Uno, Coloring Sheets, Marshmallow Peeps game and Scaryoke. If you have any other game ideas or have a board game you would like to bring please email iupsoar@gmail.com or let us know at Mondays meeting.

Treasurer nominations are still being taken. If you are interested and would like your name to be added to the ballot please send and email to iupsoar@gmail.com by Thursday October 22nd. Also if you have any questions, please email them to the above address. Elections will take place on Monday, October 26th.

We made a list of events we have done in the past and would like to continue to do in the future and ideas for events in the future:

Lastly, we made a list by month of possible event ideas for November, December and January.

November: food drive, Thanksgiving gift bags
December: Food for finals, decorate (Nightmare before Christmas), Salvation Army snowflakes (November or December)
January: Welcome Back / New semester treats, 21st B-day party, Charity Snowball fight/snowmen in courtyard!!!
